Following weeks of speculation, Salman Khan is all set to begin the next major shooting schedule of his much-awaited action entertainer with director Vamshi Paidipally. The superstar will resume filming in Mumbai from August 6, 2026, as the project enters one of its most important production phases. The upcoming schedule is expected to focus heavily on the film’s action-driven storyline.
Salman Khan gears up for high-octane action sequences
The Mumbai schedule is expected to continue for nearly six weeks and will feature three grand action set pieces mounted on a massive scale. The makers have planned elaborate stunt sequences, with filming likely to continue through September before the principal action portions are completed by October. The production remains on track for its planned Eid 2027 theatrical release.
A source close to the development shared, “The schedule was originally planned for Hyderabad but was later shifted to Mumbai. A significant part of this schedule involves large crowd sequences featuring hundreds of junior artistes. The movement of the crowd is just as crucial as Salman’s action scenes, making it one of the film’s most demanding schedules.”
The source further revealed that Nayanthara is also expected to join the team during this leg of the shoot.
Makers dismiss Salman Khan remuneration reports
Meanwhile, reports about Salman Khan’s remuneration for the film recently made headlines. Addressing the speculation, the makers issued a clarification, stating that the reports are “purely speculative and factually incorrect.” They emphasized that their attention remains firmly on completing the film rather than responding to unverified claims circulating online.
With production entering its most ambitious action schedule, excitement continues to build around Salman Khan and Vamshi Paidipally’s first collaboration. As filming progresses over the coming months, the project is shaping up to be one of the biggest theatrical releases lined up for the Eid 2027 festive window.
