Rajpal Yadav is gearing up to share screen space with Akshay Kumar in the upcoming film Bhooth Bangla, set to release on April 17, 2026, with paid previews starting a day earlier. As the Priyadarshan directorial nears its release, the actor has opened up about Welcome To The Jungle while sidestepping questions around Hera Pheri 3.
Rajpal Yadav on Welcome To The Jungle and Hera Pheri 3
In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, Rajpal Yadav urged audiences to first enjoy Bhooth Bangla before looking forward to what’s next. He described Welcome To The Jungle as an out-and-out entertainer with an unusually massive ensemble cast.
He shared that the film features as many as 27 actors, making it one of the biggest ensemble projects seen in Indian cinema in the past two decades. Calling it a “mad, mad, mad film,” the actor expressed gratitude for being part of such a large-scale project.
While he spoke enthusiastically about Welcome To The Jungle, Rajpal tactfully avoided giving any concrete update on Hera Pheri 3, choosing instead to keep the focus on his upcoming releases.
Line-up of upcoming films
Rajpal also revealed details about his packed slate. After Bhooth Bangla, audiences can expect Welcome To The Jungle, directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Firoz Nadiadwala, which he said could release in the next couple of months.
He further mentioned projects like Haiwaan and Police Station Mein Bhooth, describing the latter as a light-hearted and “cute” film. Speaking about the project, he hinted at a strong comeback from Ram Gopal Varma, noting that several prominent actors in today’s industry have been introduced by him.
On cinema and industry growth
Concluding his thoughts, Rajpal reflected on how cinema has evolved over the years. He expressed pride in being part of an industry that has embraced him and voiced optimism about Indian cinema’s growing global footprint and future box office potential.
