National Award-winning star Alia Bhatt is all set to make a comeback at Cannes this year. Following her widely talked-about debut in 2025—where she turned heads in a custom saree by Gucci—the actress is expected to once again bring a standout fashion moment to the French Riviera.

Reports suggest that Alia will attend the festival between May 12 and May 23, 2026, in France. She has also hinted at a packed schedule for the month, teasing fans about an exciting and busy May ahead.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to return as Cannes veteran

No Cannes edition feels complete without Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is set to return once again as a global ambassador for a leading beauty brand. Known for her iconic red carpet appearances over the years, she continues to be one of India’s most celebrated faces at the festival.

Strong Indian presence expected

This year’s Indian contingent is likely to include a mix of actors, filmmakers, and artists from across industries. Names like Karan Johar, Mouni Roy, Tara Sutaria, and Ammy Virk are reportedly expected to attend.

On the professional front, Alia has a busy lineup. Her upcoming action thriller Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail, is currently in post-production and features a strong ensemble cast including Sharvari, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya.

She is also part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-anticipated project Love and War, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. The film is now expected to hit theatres in 2027.
