Akanksha Choudhary on Her Return to Reality TV with Lock Upp 2
After her headline-making stint on Splitsvilla 16, Akanksha Choudhary has officially joined Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa as one of the confirmed contestants.
Speaking about her previous experience, the model revealed that the constant scrutiny, allegations, and criticism she faced significantly affected her mental well-being. Calling Lock Upp 2 an opportunity to clear the air, she told IANS, “There were many allegations during my last reality show that were never addressed.”
She further shared, “My fans have been waiting for answers, and I believe Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa will finally give me the platform to speak my truth. Those allegations had a serious impact on my mental health.”
Unlike her previous outing, where she entered the competition with carefully planned strategies, Akanksha says she is taking a completely different approach this time. She wants to let her true personality shine instead of overthinking every move.
Reflecting on the lessons she has learned, she said, “My previous show taught me not to over-prepare. This time, people will see Akanksha 3.0. I know there will be chaos inside the house, but I’m looking forward to enjoying the experience. Everyone keeps giving me strategic advice, but I want to enter with a blank mind. My only goal is to win and return victorious.”
The upcoming season is already generating significant buzz, especially with the confirmation that Yogesh Rawat will also be participating. With the former connections sharing the same house for six weeks, viewers are expecting plenty of emotional confrontations, unresolved tensions, and dramatic moments.
Hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa Season 2 premieres on Netflix on June 27, 2026.
