Ajay Devgn’s Dhamaal 4 was originally slated to hit theaters on July 4, 2026. However, the release has now reportedly been pushed to July 17, 2026, to avoid a box office clash with Akshay Kumar’s Welcome To The Jungle.
Dhamaal 4 shifts release date
As per a report by Hindustan Times, Ajay Devgn is said to have personally discussed the matter with Akshay Kumar, after which both sides mutually decided to postpone Dhamaal 4 from its earlier July 4 release to July 17, 2026.
Since Welcome To The Jungle is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on June 26, 2026, the revised release plan is expected to give both films a healthier theatrical window while preventing a direct box office showdown. Notably, both movies belong to the family comedy genre and feature ensemble casts.
According to the report, a source close to the development mentioned that Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar share a long-standing friendship that dates back to before they became major stars in the industry. The source also noted that both actors understand the business side of filmmaking, as they are involved in film production as well.
The discussion reportedly concluded smoothly, with both actors agreeing that audiences would benefit from having a gap between the release of two large-scale comedy entertainers.
