Salman Khan is currently collaborating with director Vamshi Paidipally on the tentatively titled SVC63. Recent reports suggest that the makers are considering Fahadh Faasil and Akshaye Khanna for the film’s main antagonist role.
Villain casting under discussion
As per a report, the team is looking to cast an actor who can match Salman Khan’s screen presence. Both Fahadh Faasil and Akshaye Khanna are said to be strong contenders, each bringing a unique intensity to the role. Insiders reveal that the makers are carefully evaluating their options before locking the final choice.
Interestingly, Arvind Swamy was also reportedly considered earlier for the antagonist’s part.
Shoot plans and schedule
The film’s next shooting schedule is expected to take place in Manali, followed by a stint in Hyderabad. The Telangana leg of the shoot will reportedly include major portions featuring the antagonist, and a final decision on casting is likely to be made before that schedule begins. However, an official confirmation is still awaited.
Film details and release plan
SVC63 is being planned as a large-scale action entertainer, with a targeted release around Eid 2027. The film will star Nayanthara as the female lead, marking her first on-screen collaboration with Salman Khan. Production is expected to wrap by August or September this year.
Director’s previous work
Vamshi Paidipally last directed Varisu, starring Vijay. The film followed the story of a businessman’s son who returns home to reunite his fractured family while taking charge of the family business.

On the work front, Salman Khan is also gearing up for Maatrubhumi, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film is inspired by the Galwan Valley clash and features Chitrangda Singh in a key role.
