Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are gearing up to dominate the big screen with their upcoming mass entertainers. On April 24, 2026, Shah Rukh Khan’s banner, Red Chillies Entertainment, officially announced the release date of King, while Salman Khan also shared an update on his next big project with Vamshi Paidipally and Dil Raju.
King to arrive on Christmas 2026
After months of anticipation, King has finally locked its release date. The action-thriller, directed by Siddharth Anand, is set to hit cinemas on December 24, 2026.
The announcement was made via social media, where Red Chillies Entertainment dropped a video teasing Shah Rukh Khan in multiple intense avatars. The caption read, “A ROAR loud enough to shake the KINGdom. #KING arriving on 24.12.2026.”
The film also marks the big-screen debut of Suhana Khan and features an ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, and Rani Mukerji. The music is composed by the duo Sachin-Jigar.
Salman Khan–Nayanthara film targets Eid 2027
Meanwhile, Salman Khan has teamed up with Vamshi Paidipally and Dil Raju for a high-octane action entertainer, tentatively titled SVC63, co-starring Nayanthara.
Following the muhurat shot, the makers confirmed that the film is slated for a grand theatrical release on Eid 2027. Sharing the update, Salman Khan posted a playful message hinting at the long wait but promising an exciting reveal in due time.
Backed by Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film is produced by Shirish and Kuldeep Rathore, with co-production by Rafi Kazi. The project is expected to be mounted on a large scale, bringing together two powerhouse performers for a festive blockbuster.
