Priyanka Chopra Jonas has returned to India, but before diving into her work commitments, she took a spiritual pause with a visit to the Golden Temple in Amritsar. During the visit, the actress also fondly remembered her late father, Dr. Ashok Chopra.
Priyanka remembers her father during temple visit
Ahead of resuming the shoot for S. S. Rajamouli’s upcoming film Varanasi, Priyanka made a heartfelt stop at the holy shrine. She later took to Instagram Stories to share glimpses from what she described as a “blessed visit.”
In one of the photos, the actress is seen standing within the temple premises with the illuminated shrine behind her. Accompanying the image, she wrote, “Thinking of you dad,” making the moment even more emotional.
Dressed in a peach kurta-pyjama set paired with a matching dupatta, Priyanka embraced a traditional look. Through her posts, she also highlighted the warmth of Punjabi culture and the vibrant local spirit. Several circulating videos further showed her participating in seva, including washing utensils at the temple.
Priyanka reviews Dhurandhar The Revenge
Before her temple visit, Priyanka also watched Dhurandhar: The Revenge and shared her thoughts online. Impressed by the film, she congratulated its team, including Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.
Praising director Aditya Dhar, she wrote, “You’re a man with a mission. Dhurandhar, in every way, is a revelation. Thank you all for your artistry.”
What’s next for Priyanka Chopra
On the professional front, Priyanka will soon be seen in the Telugu-language epic action-adventure Varanasi, directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The film also stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran in key roles. Mounted on a grand scale, it is expected to hit theatres on April 7, 2027.
