The Welcome franchise has remained one of Bollywood’s most loved comedy series over the years. While the third installment, Welcome to the Jungle, is gearing up for its theatrical release on June 26, 2026, producer Firoz Nadiadwala has already confirmed that Welcome 4 is currently in the scripting stage.

The first film, Welcome (2007), went on to become a cult comedy, followed by its successful sequel Welcome Back in 2015. Now, fans are eagerly waiting for the third chapter, Welcome to the Jungle.
However, even before the third installment hits theatres, producer Firoz Nadiadwala confirmed in an interview with Bombay Times that the fourth film is already being developed and is currently in an advanced scripting phase.
Sharing details about the cast, Nadiadwala revealed that iconic characters Uday Bhai, Majnu Bhai, and Dr. Ghungroo will return. This means audiences can expect the comeback of Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor, and Paresh Rawal. Interestingly, he also teased that the new film will feature more than one villain, promising an even bigger comedic chaos.
The producer added that the team is currently working on finalizing the cast while writing the script with specific actors in mind. He also hinted at a grand scale for the film’s music and action, with plans for multicultural music collaborations involving artists from the Middle East, Africa, the USA, and China.
Update on Welcome to the Jungle
During the same conversation, Nadiadwala dismissed rumors about delays surrounding Welcome to the Jungle. He confirmed that the film is complete and ready for release, crediting the team led by Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, and director Ahmed Khan.
Highlighting the film’s large scale, the producer revealed that the movie features multiple army helicopters, hundreds of horses, and luxury cars worth nearly INR 400 crore used for a song sequence in Dubai.
With Welcome to the Jungle set to release on June 26, 2026, fans can now look forward to yet another installment as the makers begin work on Welcome 4.
