The upcoming horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla starring Akshay Kumar has been creating significant buzz online. After teasing fans for weeks, the makers are finally set to unveil the film’s teaser on March 12, 2026, giving audiences their first glimpse into the spooky entertainer.
Bhooth Bangla teaser to drop on March 12
Recently, the team confirmed that the teaser of Bhooth Bangla will be released on March 12, 2026. Along with the announcement, the makers dropped a motion poster featuring Akshay Kumar in a spooky avatar. Sharing the poster, they wrote, “Just hangin’ around till the #BhoothBanglaTeaser comes out tomorrow! #BhoothBangla in cinemas on 10th April 2026.”
The film also marks a special reunion between Akshay Kumar and filmmaker Priyadarshan, a duo known for delivering several popular comedies in the past. While the teaser arrives on March 12, reports suggest the full trailer will be released digitally between March 9 and March 18.
According to an industry insider, the theatrical trailer will be attached to screenings of Dhurandhar: The Revenge starting March 19. The strategy is aimed at building strong digital chatter first and then leveraging the large theatrical footfall of the action entertainer. The source added that the decision was taken because both films share a similar target audience, making it the perfect platform to boost visibility.
Meanwhile, the film’s first track, Ram Ji Aake Bhala Karenge, has already struck a chord with listeners. Sung by Armaan Malik and Aarvan, the song is composed by Pritam with lyrics penned by Kumaar.
Apart from Akshay Kumar, the film features an ensemble cast including Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Manoj Joshi, Mithila Palkar, Jisshu Sengupta and Rajesh Sharma.
Bhooth Bangla is scheduled to hit cinemas on April 10, 2026.
