Suhana Khan Once Had a K-pop Crush — And She’s Carving Her Own Path in Bollywood
Being the daughter of a megastar like Shah Rukh Khan comes with its fair share of perks—and pressures. But Suhana Khan has always been determined to create her own identity, focusing on honing her skills and building a career on her own terms.
And here’s a fun tidbit: she once revealed she wanted to date K-pop star Kim Jun Myeon!
From Sports Star to Creative Talent
Born to Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, Suhana didn’t grow up relying on her family’s fame. As a child, she had a passion for sports, leading the Under-14 team and winning multiple state-level Taekwondo competitions.
But creativity was always part of her DNA. She explored music, dance, and writing, appearing in Shiamak Davar’s Pop dance video for the Summer Funk Show and winning the Katha National Story Writing Competition.
Suhana’s artistic drive followed her abroad. She graduated from Ardingly College in London, winning The Russel Cup for her contributions to drama, and went on to study filmmaking at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Though many believe her acting debut was in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, her first on-screen role was actually in the 2019 short film The Grey Part of Blue.
A Fun K-pop Confession
During an Instagram “Ask Me Anything” session, a fan asked Suhana which actor she’d want to date. To everyone’s surprise, she picked Korean singer, songwriter, and actor Kim Jun Myeon. She even posted a picture of him with the simple caption: “him.”
It was a lighthearted moment that showed a playful side of the star kid, far removed from the glitz and glamour her last name carries.
Beyond the Spotlight
Suhana isn’t just focusing on acting. She’s also investing smartly, owning multiple properties, including a ₹12.91 crore space with three houses in Thal Village, Alibaug.
On the career front, she’s all set to make her big-screen debut alongside her father in Siddharth Anand’s King. The film will also star Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, and several other Bollywood heavyweights. King is scheduled to hit theaters on December 24, 2026.
Suhana Khan may be a star kid, but her journey shows she’s determined to shine on her own terms—whether it’s excelling in sports, arts, or the silver screen. And yes, even having a playful K-pop crush along the way.
