Rahu Ketu struggles to find footing at the box office
Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma’s comedy Rahu Ketu added just ₹25 lakh over its second weekend, taking its total cume to ₹5.75 crore net at the Indian box office. The film had a modest start, opening to ₹90 lakh and going on to make ₹5.50 crore in its first week.
Given current trends, the movie is expected to wrap up its theatrical run around ₹5.75–6 crore. While it has performed slightly better than competing releases like Happy Patel: Khatarnaak Jasoos and One Two Cha Cha Chaa, the film hasn’t shown any signs of momentum or growth in daily collections.
Directed by Vipul Vig, the Pulkit Samrat starrer received mixed reactions from audiences, which kept it from gaining significant traction at the box office. Had the movie opened to stronger reviews and word-of-mouth, its fortunes could have been very different.
