Neha Kakkar Clears the Air on Divorce Rumors, Asks Fans to Respect Husband Rohanpreet Singh
After singer Neha Kakkar announced she was taking a break from “responsibilities, relationships, and work,” fans speculated that her marriage with Rohanpreet Singh was in trouble. Now, Neha has addressed the rumors directly, putting the speculation to rest.
In a heartfelt Instagram Story, she wrote that people should not drag her “innocent husband or my sweetest family into baseless rumors.” She added, “They are the purest people I know, and whatever I am today, it’s because of their support.”
Neha explained that her earlier posts were driven by frustration with some people and the system, and admitted that she sometimes gets too emotional on social media. “Media people know very well ke ‘Rai ka pahaad kaise banaya jaata hai’ (how to make a mountain out of a molehill). Lesson learnt,” she said. She also promised to avoid sharing personal matters online moving forward.
Ending on a lighter note, Neha wrote, “Bechari (helpless) emotional Nehu is too emotional for this world! Sorry and thank you, my NeHearts. Don’t worry, I’ll be back soon with a BANG! Much love.”
Earlier, Neha had shared that she was taking a break from all responsibilities and requested fans and paparazzi to respect her privacy and give her space. She later deleted that post.
