‘We Are Not Done’: Producer Sparks Speculation Around Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 3

by masalabuzz

The storm surrounding the Dhurandhar franchise shows no signs of slowing down. Even as audiences continue to celebrate the success of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the makers appear to have more ambitious plans in store. Producer Jyoti Deshpande has now hinted that the world of Ranveer Singh’s Hamza Ali Mazari is far from over.

Producer Hints at More Surprises From the Franchise

Directed by Aditya Dhar, both Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar: The Revenge emerged as major box office successes. However, despite delivering back-to-back blockbusters, the makers seem eager to expand the franchise even further.

During a recent conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Jyoti Deshpande was asked about the future of the series. Teasing what lies ahead, she said, “Dhurandhar, we are not done with it yet. Hopefully, we will have a surprise for the audience later on in the year. Something up our sleeves.”

Her statement immediately fueled speculation among fans and industry insiders alike. While many believe Aditya Dhar may already be developing Dhurandhar 3, others suspect the makers could be planning a spin-off project set within the same cinematic universe.

Interestingly, after the release of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, rumors about a third installment quickly spread across social media. However, actor Rakesh Bedi, who plays an important role in the franchise, had earlier dismissed the possibility of a direct continuation. Speaking to Zoom, the veteran actor stated that while a third part may not happen immediately, the franchise itself could continue with different actors and storylines in the future.

According to him, the story of the spy character reaches a conclusion by the end of the second film, though audience curiosity around the franchise remains extremely high. He also acknowledged that viewers are now actively demanding another chapter in the series.

Meanwhile, fresh industry chatter suggests that the teased “surprise” may not necessarily be Dhurandhar 3. Instead, the makers are reportedly considering a full-length behind-the-scenes documentary chronicling the making of the first two films. The project could feature unseen BTS footage, action training sequences, and exclusive interviews with the cast and crew, with a possible theatrical release planned for late 2026.
