Produced by T-Series Films and J. P. Films, and directed by Anurag Singh, the action-packed drama brings together a star-studded cast: Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, and Medha Rana. Clocking in at 200 minutes, Border 2 promises to be a cinematic experience filled with emotion, drama, and patriotic fervor.
The sequel picks up from the legacy of J. P. Dutta’s 1997 blockbuster Border, taking audiences back to the India–Pakistan war of 1971. Unlike the original, this multi-front war drama highlights the bravery of the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy in coordinated operations across different fronts.
Sunny Deol leads the film as a character inspired by Lt Col Fateh Singh Kaler, while Varun Dhawan portrays Major Hoshiar Singh Dahiya, PVC. Diljit Dosanjh steps into the shoes of Fg Offr Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, PVC from the Indian Air Force, and Ahan Shetty, son of Suniel Shetty, plays Lt Cdr M. S. Rawat of the Indian Navy.
