Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor embraced parenthood in 2022 with the arrival of their daughter Raha Kapoor, bringing a new chapter of joy into their lives. While Alia may appear soft-spoken and easygoing in public, it turns out she is the stricter parent at home. Ranbir, meanwhile, shares a more playful and friendly equation with their little one.
During a conversation with Soha Ali Khan, veteran actress Neetu Kapoor opened up about the parenting dynamic between the couple and their daughter Raha.
Speaking on the podcast, Neetu revealed that Alia is far more disciplined than people assume. She shared that Raha listens closely to her mother and described Alia as an excellent parent. At the same time, she said Ranbir behaves more like a friend to Raha, often indulging in fun and playful moments with her, while the child remains slightly intimidated by her mother.
Neetu further explained that Alia is very particular about maintaining healthy habits for Raha. She jokingly admitted that she often argues with Alia over giving the little one chocolates or treats. According to Neetu, Alia firmly avoids sugar and limits screen time, insisting on doing what’s best for her daughter’s upbringing, while the doting grandmother just wants to spoil her grandchild a little.
