Following the massive success of Saiyaara, the celebrated trio of Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda, and filmmaker Mohit Suri is gearing up for another romantic entertainer. Their reunion has already sparked considerable buzz among moviegoers, and the highly anticipated project is moving ahead toward production.
Sources close to the development reveal that Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda are expected to begin filming Mohit Suri’s next directorial venture in October-November 2026. The project is currently in the pre-production phase, with the creative team busy finalizing key aspects before the shoot begins.
“Ahaan and Aneet are teaming up with Mohit Suri once again for a new love story. Preparations are underway, and the makers are planning to kick off principal photography around October-November. The team is extremely enthusiastic about reuniting after the overwhelming success of Saiyaara,” a source shared.
At the moment, both actors are committed to their respective projects. Ahaan is occupied with the shoot of Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming film and is likely to complete his schedule by July. Meanwhile, Aneet is busy filming Shakti Shalini. Once their current commitments are wrapped up, they will move on to Mohit Suri’s romantic drama.
The source also dismissed speculation surrounding the film’s title. “Several reports have suggested that the movie is titled Satranga, but that was never the title of this project,” the insider clarified.
With Mohit Suri returning to the romantic genre he is best known for and Ahaan and Aneet sharing screen space once again under the YRF banner, expectations from the film are already soaring.
Earlier this year, while announcing the project, Mohit Suri reflected on his love for romantic storytelling. He said that stories of intense and all-consuming emotions have always drawn him as a filmmaker.
