The second season of Citadel is officially on its way, with Priyanka Chopra returning as Nadia Sinh alongside Richard Madden as Mason Kane and Stanley Tucci as Bernard Orlick. The high-octane spy series will consist of seven episodes and is set to premiere globally on Prime Video on May 6, 2026, across more than 240 countries and territories. A gripping new trailer has now been unveiled, raising anticipation for the next chapter.
Citadel Season 2 trailer promises bigger stakes
The trailer teases the return of Nadia, Mason, and Bernard as they reunite to face a new, powerful threat capable of destabilizing global systems. As the stakes rise, the trio must recruit fresh talent and rely heavily on each other to navigate a dangerous web of conspiracies.
With some of the world’s most influential families pulling the strings this time, the mission becomes even more complex. From global chases to high-risk operations, the team faces immense pressure as they attempt to prevent chaos and protect humanity.
Cast expands with new faces
Alongside the lead trio, the series sees the return of Lesley Manville and Ashleigh Cummings. New additions include Jack Reynor as Hutch, Matt Berry as Franke Sharpe, and Lina El Arabi as Celine. The ensemble also features Merle Dandridge, Gabriel Leone, and Rayna Vallandingham.
The series is led by David Weil as showrunner, director, and executive producer, alongside Joe Russo and Greg Yaitanes.
A global franchise continues to expand
Citadel returns after a three-year gap since its debut in April 2023 and has since grown into a global franchise. It has already inspired international spin-offs, including Citadel: Diana and the Indian adaptation Citadel: Honey Bunny, starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
With heightened stakes, a bigger cast, and a more expansive storyline, Season 2 promises to take the spy saga to the next level.
