Fitness influencer Rajat Dalal rose to widespread fame following his appearance on the recently concluded reality show The 50 reality show. Around a week ago, the heavyweight lifter tied the knot with his long-time partner in an intimate yet elegant ceremony. The wedding was attended only by close family members, but recent revelations by Lakshay Kaushik suggest that a grand reception is now being planned for industry friends.
Rajat Dalal to host grand wedding reception
Last month, Rajat surprised fans by sharing a series of dreamy wedding pictures with his partner. Dressed in traditional wedding attire, the couple posed against a scenic backdrop, giving fans a glimpse into their special day. Although the ceremony was a private affair with no industry friends in attendance, many well-wishers flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages.
Now, Rajat’s co-contestant from The 50 reality show, Lakshay Kaushik, has revealed that a grand reception is on the cards. Speaking to Telly Chakkar, he shared that the wedding was limited to close family members from both sides, but a larger celebration will soon take place where everyone will be invited.
Lakshay also mentioned that he was already aware of Rajat’s wedding plans, adding that the latter had discussed them multiple times during their time on the show.
Interestingly, just a couple of weeks before the wedding, Rajat had shared pictures from a hospital bed, revealing that he had suffered a tendon tear on the very first day of filming The 50 reality show. The injury, which initially measured 2.8 cm, worsened to 3 cm, requiring surgical intervention.
In an update shared on his Instagram Stories, Rajat reassured fans that the surgery was successful and that he is now recovering well.
