Zendaya to Take a Break After a Jam-Packed 2026: “I’m Disappearing for a Little Bit”
Zendaya is gearing up for one of the busiest years of her career—and then plans to take a well-deserved step back. The 29-year-old star has five major projects lined up for 2026, including a Marvel film, a Christopher Nolan feature, the next season of Euphoria, and the long-awaited Dune: Part Three. After nearly two years away from acting following Challengers in March 2024, this next year looks set to be nothing short of whirlwind.
In a candid chat with Fandango, Zendaya opened up about hitting pause afterward. “I just hope people don’t get sick of me,” she said. “I really appreciate anyone who supports any of the movies or supports my career in any kind of way. I’m deeply appreciative. I just hope you guys don’t get sick of me this year because I’ll tell you what, after this, I’m disappearing for a little bit. I’m going to have to go into hiding for just a little bit.”
Her 2026 lineup kicks off with the romantic thriller The Drama, starring Robert Pattinson, on April 3. Rue Bennett makes her return in Euphoria Season 3 on April 12, followed by her Christopher Nolan adventure on July 17, the next Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 31, and finally, the epic conclusion of Dune: Part Three on December 18, alongside Timothée Chalamet.
After such an action-packed year, Zendaya seems ready to step away from the spotlight, focusing more on family amid rumors she secretly married Tom Holland earlier this year. It looks like 2026 will be both a peak and a pause in the superstar’s extraordinary journey.
