Rani Mukerji is back in action with the third installment of the Mardaani franchise, bringing another important story to the screen. Rani reprises her role as SSP Shivani Shivaji Roy in Abhiraj Minawala’s action-thriller. Following its box office success, the film will make its digital debut on Netflix. According to reports from OTT Play, the premiere is set for March 27, 2026, roughly eight weeks after its theatrical release on January 30, 2026. The movie is backed by Yash Raj Films, though the makers haven’t issued an official OTT announcement yet.

In this gritty cop drama, Shivani Shivaji Roy dives into the dark underworld to confront the mafia responsible for the disappearance of 93 girls. Battling a beggar mafia syndicate, she faces off against fierce and cunning villains while fighting to save the girls.
Rani’s performance earned praise not just from fans but also from her longtime friend and co-star, Shah Rukh Khan, who took to social media, saying:

King is slated for a theatrical release on December 24, 2026.
