Rahu Ketu Box Office: Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma Film Struggles, Total Crosses ₹4.3 Crore
Rahu Ketu, directed by Vipul Vig and starring Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma, faced a steep drop on its first Monday, collecting just ₹45 lakh. This takes the film’s total domestic box office to around ₹4.30 crore net, marking a roughly 50% decline from its opening day.
Despite its ambitious mythological premise, the film failed to connect with audiences. Mixed word-of-mouth meant that growth remained limited, and trade analysts now expect the movie’s total run to stay under ₹10 crore net, which would be considered a disappointing outcome.
While it did edge past releases like Happy Patel: Khatarnaak Jasoos and One Two Cha Cha in collections, that advantage is unlikely to change its overall fate. Rahu Ketu faces a tough challenge from the upcoming Sunny Deol starrer Border 2, which is expected to dominate screens from this weekend and push underperforming films out of theaters.
In short, Rahu Ketu struggled to sustain momentum, and its box office journey seems to be winding down sooner than hoped.
