The clip was unveiled at a grand event in Mumbai, attended by the cast, media, and enthusiastic fans. What truly stood out, however, was an emotional moment involving Sunny Deol that left many moved.

Earlier today, December 16, 2025, Sunny Deol arrived at the teaser launch alongside co-stars Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty. As fans cheered and cameras rolled, the makers unveiled the teaser, which was met with loud applause.

During the event, Sunny Deol was requested to recite his now-iconic dialogue from the teaser. As he delivered the powerful line — “Awaaz kahan tak jaani chahiye? Lahore tak” — the emotion clearly caught up with him. His eyes welled up, and he paused, visibly moved by the moment.

Known for his deep sense of patriotism, Sunny Deol has often spoken about his pride in portraying stories rooted in India’s courage and sacrifice. Being part of a film that honours the bravery of Indian soldiers clearly struck a personal chord, making the moment all the more heartfelt.

In the film, Sunny Deol is expected to portray Lt. Colonel Fateh Singh Kaler, while Varun Dhawan will be seen as Major Hoshiar Singh Dahiya, PVC. Diljit Dosanjh joins the cast in a role inspired by Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, PVC. Ahan Shetty will be seen essaying the role of Lt Cdr Joseph Pius Alfred Noronha, MVC.

The ensemble cast also includes Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, Medha Rana, Paramvir Cheema, Guneet Sandhu, and Angad Singh in key supporting roles.

A sequel to JP Dutta’s iconic Border, the film is slated to hit theatres on January 23, 2026, and promises to be an emotional tribute to India’s bravehearts.
