Panettiere began her career as a child performer and went on to establish herself across television and film. She rose to international prominence as Claire Bennet in Heroes and later earned critical recognition for portraying Juliette Barnes in Nashville, a role that earned her two Golden Globe nominations.

Her filmography included Remember the Titans, Raising Helen, Ice Princess and the Scream franchise. She also returned as Kirby Reed in Scream VI. Her final screen appearance was in the 2026 psychological thriller Sleepwalker
