Soundarya Rajinikanth Confirms
While promoting her film With Love, filmmaker Soundarya Rajinikanth confirmed that her father has begun work on his autobiography. She described the upcoming book as something that will be “a global phenomenon,” signaling that it will offer a deep dive into the superstar’s extraordinary life and career.
This isn’t the first hint about the autobiography. Earlier, director Lokesh Kanagaraj had mentioned during promotions for Coolie that Rajinikanth was involved in work related to his biography, and it seems the project is now officially underway.
What Rajinikanth is Up To
On the film front, Rajinikanth was last seen in Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The action drama follows a former daily wage worker drawn back into a life of intrigue following the death of his best friend. The film featured a star-studded cast including Nagarjuna Akkineni, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and even a cameo by Aamir Khan.
Looking ahead, the superstar is busy with Jailer 2, the sequel to his action-comedy blockbuster, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Fans can expect appearances from Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Vidya Balan, Mithun Chakraborty, and possibly a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan.
After wrapping up Jailer 2, Rajinikanth is set to begin work on Thalaivar173, tentatively titled, directed by Cibi Chakravarthy and co-produced by Kamal Haasan under Raaj Kamal Films International. The film is expected to feature the superstar in the role of a tailor, promising yet another unique chapter in his cinematic journey.
With his autobiography and multiple high-profile projects underway, Rajinikanth continues to prove that even decades into his career, the legend shows no signs of slowing down.
