The movie has benefited from favourable word-of-mouth, which has helped strengthen its theatrical performance. Early estimates suggest that DC is witnessing another significant rise in collections on Day 3. The film is expected to finish its opening weekend with around Rs. 20 crore.

Karnataka contributed Rs. 1.65 crore, while Kerala recorded Rs. 1.50 crore. The remaining Indian markets have contributed approximately Rs. 1.10 crore.
The film’s long-term box-office performance will largely depend on its weekday hold. DC is also set to face a significant challenge from Suriya’s Vishwanath & Sons beginning its second weekend. Until then, the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial is expected to continue adding a respectable amount to its total.
