Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash have been winning hearts with their chemistry on the reality show Desi Bling. While the show’s first season ended with Karan’s dreamy proposal, officially marking their engagement, it also gave fans a closer look at the couple’s candid and playful relationship dynamics.

Karan Kundrra says he is ‘parenting’ Tejasswi

During a conversation on Desi Bling, Karan was asked why he waited four years before proposing to Tejasswi. Responding honestly, the actor admitted that he often feels more like a parent than just a partner in their relationship.

According to Karan, marriage comes with responsibilities from both sides, and he wants Tejasswi to become a little more independent and mature. He jokingly mentioned that she can sometimes be demanding and that he ends up managing many aspects of her life, even calling himself her “manager” and saying he feels like he is “parenting” her.

The actor further revealed that his parents had noticed this caring and protective dynamic between them quite early in their relationship. He shared that they once expressed concern about how overwhelming things could become in the future, especially after having children, considering how much he already takes care of Tejasswi.

Adding to the discussion, fellow participant Dyuti Parruck humorously warned Karan that things could become “ten times worse” after marriage and kids.

The fairytale proposal

Despite the light-hearted concerns and banter, Karan eventually put all doubts to rest in the finale episode by planning a grand proposal for Tejasswi. The actor went down on one knee and presented her with a stunning diamond solitaire ring, officially announcing their engagement.

Recently, Tejasswi also made headlines during her appearance with Karan on Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi’s chat show, where she jokingly opened up about baby plans. In her trademark witty style, the actress hinted that they might approach parenthood in an “unplanned” way, leaving everyone laughing.
