The television star shared how comments about botox, facelifts, and body enhancements once affected her emotionally, but she has gradually learned to overcome the negativity and accept herself wholeheartedly.

In a recent conversation with Zoom, Rubina Dilaik revealed that she has often come across hurtful comments from strangers criticizing her appearance. Recalling some of the remarks, she shared that people would say she looked older, unusual, or had undergone procedures like botox, facelift surgeries, or body toning.
The actress explained that one important lesson she has learned over time is that she cannot control what others think about her. However, she believes she can control how she chooses to react to those opinions.
Rubina admitted that earlier, such criticism used to deeply affect her emotionally and shake her confidence. She confessed there was a period when online negativity disturbed her peace of mind, but later she realized that allowing trolls to influence her emotions only gave them more power.
According to her, she now prefers focusing on self-acceptance rather than chasing unrealistic beauty standards promoted by society and social media platforms.
Speaking further about cosmetic trends and changing beauty expectations, Rubina Dilaik noted that many women simply wish to look a certain way because of societal pressure. She expressed concern over how identical beauty standards, such as fuller lips, sculpted noses, and botoxed features, are becoming normalized everywhere.
The actress also questioned why individuality is often overlooked, pointing out that every person has been created uniquely and that uniqueness itself should be celebrated.

On the work front, Rubina Dilaik recently emerged as the winner of Pati Patni Aur Panga alongside her husband Abhinav Shukla.
She is now preparing for Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 15, hosted by Rohit Shetty. The upcoming season is expected to feature contestants including Jasmin Bhasin, Rithvik Dhanjani, Karan Wahi, Gaurav Khanna, Avika Gor, and Harsh Gujral among others. The reality show is likely to premiere on Colors TV and JioHotstar in late June or early July.
