Aadu 3: One Last Ride – Part 1, starring Jayasurya, hit theatres on March 19, 2026. Directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, the film marks the third installment in the much-loved franchise—and this time, it kicks off a two-part finale.

If you couldn’t catch it on the big screen, the wait to watch it at home isn’t too long.

Cast and Crew

As expected, most of the familiar faces are back. Alongside Jayasurya, the film features Saiju Kurup, Vinayakan, Renji Panicker, Vijay Babu, Sunny Wayne, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Bhagath Manuel, Indrans, Bijukuttan, and Sudhi Koppa, all reprising their roles.

The film also brings in some new additions like Alleya Bourne and Krishna Jeev. There are a few fun surprises too—both Midhun Manuel Thomas and Vineeth Mohan pop up in cameo roles, while Vedhika appears in a special dance number.

Behind the scenes, the film is backed by Friday Film House and Kavya Film Company. Music is composed by Shaan Rahman, with Dawn Vincent handling the background score. Cinematography is by Akhil George, and editing is done by Lijo Paul.

When and Where to Watch

The film is set to stream on ZEE5 starting May 1, 2026. The announcement came directly from the platform’s official social media pages, teasing fans with the return of Shaji Pappan and his gang—this time with even more chaos.

What’s Different This Time?

Unlike the earlier films, which leaned heavily into comedy, this installment takes a slightly unexpected turn by adding fantasy into the mix.

The story opens far in the future—around the year 2370—where Earth is under the control of a powerful regime known as “The Organization.” With natural resources nearly depleted, they’re searching for something called Star Dust, a mysterious substance believed to have the ability to manipulate time itself.

On the other side, a resistance group led by Baba discovers that time in this world isn’t as straightforward as it seems. Past, present, and future all exist at once, and changing one can affect the others. To stop the Organization, they decide to interfere with events in earlier timelines.

That’s where the story loops back to the present-day adventures of Shaji Pappan and his gang, while also dipping into their past lives set in the 1790s. The film jumps between timelines, slowly revealing how everything connects.

Since this is only the first part of a two-film finale, it wraps up on a cliffhanger, setting the stage for the sequel, Aadu 3: The Ride Ends – Part 2.
