BTS Keeps Dominating: “ARIRANG” Tops Billboard 200 Again, “SWIM” Holds Strong
BTS shows no signs of slowing down. Their latest album, “ARIRANG,” has once again claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200, making them the only K-pop act in history to maintain this level of consistent success—and doing so after a gap of nearly four years. Their lead single, “SWIM,” has also only slipped one spot on the Billboard Hot 100, proving that fans are still fully on board.
According to the Billboard updates dated April 11, 2026, BTS topped the album chart despite strong competition, including Ye, whose album “BULLY” surprisingly fell short. For the week ending April 2, BTS earned 187,000 equivalent album units, including 114,000 from pure album sales and 8,000 from streaming—a testament to their loyal global fanbase. Last week, their total of 641,000 units had already set a high benchmark.
On the singles side, “SWIM” slipped to No. 2 on the Hot 100, giving way to Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas”, but its staying power shows BTS’ singles remain major chart contenders.
Fans can also look forward to more excitement: the BTS ARIRANG World Tour kicked off on April 9 in Goyang, South Korea, and will continue across the globe through 2027, reuniting the group with their worldwide fanbase.
With records being broken and new milestones being set, BTS’ dominance in the music world is far from over.
