In December 2025, actor Gaurav Khanna emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 19, beating Farrhana Bhatt in the grand finale of the reality show hosted by Salman Khan. However, months after his victory, the television star has revealed that he is still waiting to receive the Rs 50 lakh prize money promised during the finale.
Gaurav Khanna says prize money hasn’t arrived yet
In his latest YouTube vlog, Gaurav Khanna interacted with fans and answered several questions. One fan asked whether he had received everything that was announced on the finale night of Bigg Boss 19, including the cash prize, car, and gift coupons.
Responding honestly, the actor said, “Waise sach bolu toh thoda time lagta hai yeh sab aana. Frankly, abhi tak nahi miley hain. Lekin, I am sure mil jayenge because ek process hota hain.”
He further explained that such delays are quite common due to internal processes and audits. According to him, it usually takes one to two months for such rewards to be processed and delivered.
Khanna added, “I think 1–2 mahine toh lagte hain yeh saari cheeze aane mein because company ki apni internal audits hoti hain. Aa jayega, aisa nahi hain ki nahi aayega. Thoda delay hota hain, which is fine. TV ka banda hoon, and TV mein thode delays hote hain.”
A calm winner of Bigg Boss 19
For those unaware, Gaurav Khanna was one of the rare contestants to win Bigg Boss 19 without getting involved in major fights or intense rivalries inside the house. His calm and dignified approach during the season won him appreciation from both fans and host Salman Khan.
During the finale, Salman Khan had even praised the actor and hinted that he would like to work with him in the future. Notably, before lifting the Bigg Boss trophy, Khanna had also won the cooking reality show Celebrity MasterChef India, making it a successful year for the television star.
