The film is now expected to maintain its strong momentum over Saturday and Sunday, with its fourth-weekend total likely to take the overall India collection to around Rs. 25 crore nett.

With its remarkable turnaround, Hanuman Ansh has already emerged as a Clean Hit. The film’s journey has been nothing short of extraordinary, considering it was struggling to attract audiences during its opening two weeks before witnessing a phenomenal revival in Week 3.

For the unversed, Hanuman Ansh opened to approximately Rs. 10 lakh nett and ended its first week with around Rs. 90 lakh. Its collections weakened further in the second week as Independence Day releases dominated the available showcasing. However, the film staged a stunning comeback in its third week, collecting more than Rs. 10 crore nett.

The devotional drama has now reached an entirely different level, with its fourth Friday becoming its biggest day yet.

Given the kind of momentum Hanuman Ansh is currently carrying, its eventual lifetime total remains difficult to predict. Films with such unconventional box-office trajectories are rare, making this run particularly fascinating to track.

Similar box-office phenomena were witnessed with Mahavatar Narsimha and Laalo: Krishna Sada Sahaayate last year. Now, Hanuman Ansh has joined that unusual group of films that found a second wind after an underwhelming beginning.

With Ramayana also scheduled to arrive later this year, the industry could potentially witness an even bigger devotional box-office phenomenon.
