BTS has done it again! The South Korean septet’s latest album, ARIRANG, has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking their seventh chart-topping album in the US. The milestone underscores their continued global popularity, with the album moving more than half a million equivalent album units, including 532,000 in pure sales (physical and digital copies).
ARIRANG Breaks Records
With 641,000 equivalent album units in its first week, ARIRANG not only topped the Billboard 200 but also set a new benchmark for K-pop album debuts in the US, surpassing BTS’s own 2020 release MAP OF THE SOUL: 7. It’s also the biggest sales week for a group album in over a decade, proving once again that BTS continues to dominate worldwide.
The Billboard chart is dated April 4, 2026, and fans are eagerly anticipating even more milestones, including the potential for the title track SWIM to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
