Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma Add Another Rs. 38 Crore Alibaug Property to Their Portfolio
Power couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have long balanced their bustling careers with family life, frequently flying in and out of Mumbai. While rumors suggest the duo is settling in the UK to build a home for themselves and their children, they continue to expand their real estate holdings back in India. Their latest acquisition? A lavish new property in Alibaug worth nearly Rs. 38 crore.
Details of the New Alibaug Property
According to registration details obtained by CRE Matrix, the couple purchased two adjoining land parcels measuring 1.474 hectares and 0.627 hectares, located near their previous Alibaug property, which they bought about four years ago and reportedly already has a home built on it. The total purchase price comes to Rs. 37.86 crore, including Rs. 2.27 crore in stamp duty and a Rs. 30,000 registration fee. The deal was reportedly finalized on January 13, 2026.
Combined, the two plots cover 21,010 square meters, with one spanning 14,740 square meters and the other 6,270 square meters. The property is situated in Zirad village near Awas Beach, in Alibaug’s Raigad district. While the exact purpose of the purchase isn’t known, the seller is listed as Sonali Amit Rajput, with Samira Land Assets Private Limited confirming the transaction.
This isn’t the couple’s first Alibaug investment. Back in 2022, they acquired 7.45 acres across two plots in the same area for Rs. 19.24 crore, with an additional Rs. 1.15 crore in stamp duty.
Life Beyond Real Estate
The star couple has been spotted enjoying family time amid their busy schedules. In early December, they visited Premanand Ji Maharaj’s ashram in Vrindavan, followed by a trip to Alibaug. They then returned to spend the holidays with their kids, ringing in the New Year together.
With this new purchase, Kohli and Sharma continue to strengthen their presence in one of Maharashtra’s most coveted coastal retreats, adding another jewel to their growing real estate portfolio.
