1. Ranveer Singh’s Pralay Set to Be His Biggest Film Yet
After the blockbuster success of Dhurandhar, Ranveer Singh is gearing up for his next big adventure: Pralay. Set against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, Pralay is a high-concept zombie drama directed by Jai Mehta, with a reported budget of around ₹300 crore. It will also be the first release under Ranveer’s own production banner, Maa Kasam Films.
A source close to the project revealed, “Ranveer is involved in every stage, from script development to VFX planning. He’s entered a backend profit-sharing deal, making this project deeply personal. It’s not just about acting — it’s about creating a cinematic experience.”
Filming is expected to begin around May or June 2026, with heavy reliance on VFX to bring the story to life.
2. Sonu Sood & Colleagues Rally Behind Rajpal Yadav
In a heartwarming move, Sonu Sood stepped forward to support veteran actor Rajpal Yadav during a difficult phase. Announcing that Rajpal will be part of his upcoming film, Sood appealed to the film fraternity to stand together.

Fans celebrated this week as Chiranjeevi shared the first glimpse of the naming ceremony for Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela’s twins. The couple has named their children Shiv Ram and Anveera Devi.
Chiranjeevi explained the meaning behind the names: Shiv Ram is “a confluence of two eternal ideals,” combining inspiration from Shiva Shankara Vara Prasad and Ram Charan, symbolizing “harmony between inner power and responsible action.” Anveera Devi reflects “grace, courage, and unwavering strength,” inspired by the blessings of Kanaka Durga Devi.
