Farah Khan Hints at a Film Comeback, Says “If I Direct Again, It Will Be with Shah Rukh Khan”
Fans of Bollywood’s hitmaker Farah Khan have reason to celebrate. The filmmaker and choreographer, known for blockbuster films like Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om, and Tees Maar Khan, has confirmed she’s ready to return to directing—though she has one special condition.
In a recent vlog during a visit to actor Nakuul Mehta’s home, Farah shared details about her next project. She joked about delaying the comeback until her kids finish college, saying, “Abhi banaungi main! There is a whole petition on the internet called ‘Wapas aao Farah Khan.’ So I think it is time. I think end of this year I will start.”
When asked if her next film might be produced through YouTube, she made her intentions clear: “If I do [direct a film], I will do it with Shah Rukh! Otherwise, I will wait and do YouTube.”
Farah’s last directorial venture was Happy New Year (2014), starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Sonu Sood, and Boman Irani, which became a box office hit. Since 2025, she has been delighting fans with her playful vlogs featuring her cook, Dilip, which have amassed a huge following.
On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Dunki (2023) and is gearing up for Siddharth Anand’s highly anticipated King, though the release date is still under wraps.
With Farah’s return and her desire to collaborate with Shah Rukh, fans may soon get the magic duo back on the big screen.
