Yuzvendra Chahal Denies Reality Show Reunion Rumors With Ex-Wife Dhanashree Verma
Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal has once again found himself in the spotlight, this time over rumors linking him to a reality show with his ex-wife, dancer and influencer Dhanashree Verma. The couple, who tied the knot in December 2020 after a whirlwind romance, officially ended their 4.5-year marriage in March 2025.
Speculation recently surfaced that the former couple might reunite on screen for a show called The 50, sparking curiosity among fans. However, Chahal quickly put the rumors to rest. Taking to Instagram, the 35-year-old posted a clear statement denying any involvement with the show:
“There is no truth to the reports currently circulating about Yuzvendra Chahal’s participation in any reality show. These claims are speculative and incorrect. Yuzvendra is not associated with the show mentioned in recent reports, and there are no discussions or commitments of this nature. We request media platforms and social media users to refrain from spreading unverified information.”
A Look Back at Their Relationship
Chahal and Verma’s relationship began on a sweet note, with Dhanashree teaching Yuzvendra to dance, but their busy careers eventually took a toll. After living separately for around two years, the couple decided to part ways amicably, finalizing their divorce without a cooling-off period. Reports also suggested Chahal paid a significant alimony, though neither party officially confirmed the figure.
Post-divorce, the couple has occasionally been in the headlines. In a recent appearance on the reality show Rise and Fall, Dhanashree reflected on her marriage, admitting some regrets and sharing that she had initially been hesitant about tying the knot.
For now, fans will have to separate fact from fiction — there’s no reunion for Chahal and Verma on reality TV just yet.
