Ranveer Singh’s spy action drama Dhurandhar has successfully completed 50 days at the Indian box office, continuing its remarkable theatrical run. After closing its seventh week with record-breaking numbers, the film entered its eighth week on a slower note, registering a noticeable drop in collections.
According to early estimates, Dhurandhar earned ₹50 lakh on Day 50 (8th Friday), marking a decline of nearly 40 percent compared to previous days. The dip comes largely due to the arrival of Border 2, which has emerged as the film’s first major competition since release.
Despite this slowdown, Dhurandhar’s total net collection now stands at ₹778.80 crore in India after 50 days. The film has dominated the box office by securing every weekly record for Hindi films except Week 1. Currently, the eighth-week record is held by Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, which earned ₹4 crore during that period. Even with the drop on Friday, Dhurandhar still has a chance to challenge that benchmark if it sees regular weekend growth, especially with the Republic Day holiday boosting footfalls.
Going by current trends, the Ranveer Singh starrer is expected to cross the ₹780 crore mark by the end of its eighth weekend. If it manages to hold steady against Border 2, the film is likely to wrap up its theatrical run in the range of ₹785–790 crore net.
An equally impressive milestone is its footfall count. Dhurandhar is closing in on 3.5 crore admissions, which would make it the first Hindi film to achieve this feat since Dangal (excluding multi-language releases like Jawan).
