Love and War Update: Ranbir, Alia, and Vicky Gear Up for Bhansali’s Dance Extravaganza
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly anticipated love triangle, Love and War, is back in full swing after a long production break, with the next phase focusing on grand dance sequences. According to Mid-Day, two major performance shoots are scheduled in the coming weeks, featuring the film’s lead trio — Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal.
The first sequence, set to begin on January 20 at Film City, Goregaon, will be choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, known for iconic numbers like Sadda Dil Vi Tu from ABCD – Any Body Can Dance and Havan Kund from Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. A source described the upcoming song as “high on energy, dramatic, and visually lavish, as expected from a Bhansali creation.”
The second sequence, scheduled for early February, promises to push creative boundaries. Choreographer Shiamak Davar will lead what insiders are calling one of Bhansali’s most experimental musical set-pieces to date, blending contemporary movement with theatrical staging. “It’s unlike anything Bhansali has attempted before, with Shiamak bringing a fresh, high-energy theatricality to the sequence,” the source added.
