Project Hail Mary, starring Ryan Gosling, is continuing its strong run at the Indian box office. The Hollywood sci-fi action adventure earned around ₹2.50 crore on its first Monday, witnessing only a minimal 10% drop from its opening day—an excellent hold for a weekday.

Including its opening weekend collection of ₹17.25 crore, the film’s total now stands at approximately ₹19.75 crore gross in India. Films with positive word-of-mouth, especially from Hollywood, tend to remain steady during weekdays, and Project Hail Mary appears to be following that trend.

If the film sustains this momentum through the weekdays, it is expected to cross the ₹25 crore mark and wrap up its first week at around ₹26 crore. With limited competition at the box office—apart from Dhurandhar: The Revenge—the film is likely to continue attracting audiences steadily.

Going by its current trajectory, the Ryan Gosling starrer has the potential to surpass ₹50 crore in India, which would qualify it as a clean hit. Its performance during the weekdays and the upcoming second weekend will be key to determining its final box office outcome.

Day-wise Box Office Collection (India):

  • Day 1: ₹2.80 crore

  • Day 2: ₹3.35 crore

  • Day 3: ₹5.35 crore

  • Day 4: ₹5.75 crore

  • Day 5: ₹2.50 crore (est.)

  • Total: ₹19.75 crore

On the global front, the film has emerged as a major success, crossing the $300 million mark worldwide. It has also become the highest-grossing film for Amazon MGM Studios, surpassing the previous record held by Creed 3.
