The Tamil film Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), starring Pradeep Ranganathan, witnessed a steady rise at the box office on Day 2. The sci-fi comedy collected around Rs. 9.75 crore, marking a growth of nearly 20% over its opening day—an encouraging trend despite not being a massive spike.

LIK box office grows on Day 2

With this jump, the film’s two-day total now stands at Rs. 17.50 crore gross at the Indian box office. Based on current momentum, Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) is expected to wrap up its opening weekend with a total of around Rs. 25 crore.

About the film

Set in the year 2040, Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) follows Vasu, a young man navigating a futuristic world where technology governs even matters of the heart. When a company claims its app can perfectly match couples, Vasu challenges the system after falling in love with Dheema—an incompatible match.

The film also stars Krithi Shetty, S. J. Suryah, Gouri G Kishan, and Yogi Babu in key roles.
