Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War has been making headlines ever since its announcement. The romantic drama features Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. From reports about its massive budget to speculation around reshoots impacting the timeline, the film has consistently remained in the spotlight. Now, fresh reports suggest that the makers are taking stringent measures to prevent any leaks from the sets during production.
Love & War makers enforce strict NDAs
As per reports, the production team is putting tight confidentiality protocols in place. Not only the lead cast, but a large portion of the crew has reportedly been asked to sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). Sources indicate that the team is leaving no stone unturned to safeguard the film’s content and keep details under wraps.
In fact, over 500 NDAs have either already been signed or are currently in the process, ensuring that no visuals, information, or material from the sets reaches the public domain.
Reshoots and delays add to buzz
The increased secrecy comes at a time when reports of reshoots have also surfaced. Bhansali is said to be revisiting several key sequences to achieve his signature level of perfection. These additional shoots have reportedly pushed up the film’s budget and contributed to delays in locking its theatrical release date.
Love & War is already being regarded as one of Bhansali’s most expensive projects so far. During an Instagram Live session, Ranbir Kapoor confirmed that the film’s release has been postponed. He revealed that it will hit theatres after Ramayana: Part One, which is currently scheduled for release in October, although an official release date for Love & War is yet to be announced.
