Aditya Dhar is gearing up for the release of his much-anticipated film Dhurandhar: The Revenge, and ahead of its premiere, he has shared a heartfelt note for fans—while also sparking fresh buzz about a possible continuation of the franchise.

Taking to social media, the director urged audiences not to share spoilers, asking fans to experience the film in theatres the way it’s meant to be seen—fresh, emotional, and uninterrupted.

He also appeared to hint at something more, subtly suggesting that viewers should stay until the very end of the credits, fueling speculation about a potential Dhurandhar 3.

A note to the “Dhurandhar family”

In an open letter addressed to what he called his “dearest, most extraordinary Dhurandhar family,” Dhar reflected on the overwhelming response to the first film. He spoke about how audiences didn’t just watch it—they engaged with every detail, rewatched scenes, and even picked up things he hadn’t consciously planned.

He described that reaction as deeply humbling and said it was one of the most meaningful experiences of his filmmaking journey.

Raising the stakes with the sequel

Talking about Dhurandhar: The Revenge, Dhar shared that the goal was to push emotional boundaries and surprise viewers in ways they wouldn’t expect. He said the team worked hard to ensure audiences feel every twist and emotion exactly as intended.

He also emphasized his vision of a theatrical experience—watching the film together in a dark room, surrounded by strangers, all reacting at the same moment.

At the same time, he gently warned against spoilers and piracy, encouraging fans to let others enjoy the film without knowing what’s coming.

The end-credit tease

What really caught fans’ attention was his closing line. He asked viewers not to leave the theatre until the credits finish rolling, ending his message with a playful wink—something many are interpreting as a possible tease for Dhurandhar 3.

While there’s no official confirmation of a third installment, the hint was enough to set social media buzzing.

Dhurandhar 2 (Dhurandhar: The Revenge) is set to release on March 19, with paid previews beginning from March 18.
