Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge has officially entered the coveted ₹1,000 crore worldwide club—on just its ninth day of release. As of Thursday’s close, the film had grossed approximately ₹981 crore globally, with ₹720 crore from India and ₹261 crore from overseas. Morning and matinee collections from India and Eastern markets pushed the total past the four-digit milestone today.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge Joins an Elite Club
Dhurandhar: The Revenge is the ninth Indian film ever to cross ₹1,000 crore worldwide. It’s the fifth Bollywood film to achieve this, following Dangal, Pathaan, Jawan, and its own predecessor, Dhurandhar. The feat also makes Ranveer Singh the only actor besides Shah Rukh Khan to have two films in this elite club.
What makes this even more remarkable is the speed: it took just nine days to reach the milestone, making it the quickest ever to do so, alongside two other record-breaking sequels—Baahubali: The Conclusion and Pushpa: The Rise. Both of these films were also record-holders for Indian cinema at the time of their original release, a benchmark Dhurandhar: The Revenge is currently on track to surpass.

There’s also Kalki 2898 AD, which grossed ₹987 crore worldwide. Including 3D charges, it technically crosses the ₹1,000 crore mark. However, current industry reporting norms in India exclude 3D charges, so it isn’t counted in the official records yet. If these norms change in the future, it could be recognised as part of this elite club.
