Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Hindi) earned approximately Rs. 6.50 crore nett on its third Thursday, wrapping up its third week with around Rs. 99 crore nett. This takes its cumulative Hindi total to just under the Rs. 900 crore mark, a milestone it is expected to surpass today. Including an additional Rs. 54 crore nett from its South-dubbed versions, the film’s all-India total stands at an estimated Rs. 953.50 crore nett.
The film’s third-week performance ranks as the second-highest ever, trailing only its predecessor, Dhurandhar, which had collected a massive Rs. 162 crore nett in the same period last year. Other notable third-week performers include Pushpa 2 (Hindi) with Rs. 91.50 crore and Chhaava at Rs. 80 crore. A week-on-week drop of 57% from the second week reflects a steady hold, although the absence of major competition and the presence of holidays could have pushed the numbers even higher.
The sequel’s box office trajectory has differed significantly from the original. While the first Dhurandhar saw a slow start before gaining momentum and exploding in its second week, Dhurandhar: The Revenge opened to massive numbers right from day one and has since followed a more typical big-film trend.
Regionally, the film has set new benchmarks for a Hindi release across Southern circuits, East Punjab, and Delhi-UP. Mumbai is also on track to emerge as its top-performing territory over the weekend. These circuits, largely driven by metro audiences, have delivered exceptional business. Rajasthan may also challenge for the top spot, while other regions are likely to fall slightly short of records. In most markets, however, it will stand just behind Pushpa 2 (Hindi), except in West Bengal and Assam, where Jawan remains ahead.
Looking ahead, crossing the Rs. 1000 crore nett mark (including all versions) appears achievable, though the Hindi version alone faces a tougher path. A stronger third week—closer to Rs. 110 crore—would have made the milestone easier to attain. With another relatively open week and a few holidays ahead, the film still has a chance if it maintains a solid hold.
Regardless, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has already secured its position as an all-time blockbuster. While footfalls may not match the scale of its collections, its box office performance firmly places it among the biggest hits ever.
