Dhurandhar continued its phenomenal box office run on its fourth Saturday, earning approximately ₹19.50 crore nett. With this, the film’s total collection now stands at around ₹636 crore nett in India. Unsurprisingly, this also marks another daily box office record for the film.
What makes the run even more extraordinary is that Dhurandhar now holds every single daily box office record for Hindi films, starting right from its first Thursday. It has also registered its fifth all-India daily record so far, with more milestones clearly on the horizon.
The film saw a nearly 30% jump from Friday, which may appear slightly modest at first glance. However, Friday’s numbers were already boosted due to a holiday, making Saturday’s growth even more impressive than expected. At this pace, Dhurandhar is well on track to touch the ₹100 crore mark in its fourth week alone. To put that into perspective, the previous fourth-week record stands at ₹50.75 crore nett, and Dhurandhar is set to double — or even exceed — that figure, which is nothing short of remarkable.
Yesterday, Dhurandhar officially became the highest-grossing Bollywood film in India, overtaking Jawan. The film is now steadily moving towards surpassing Pushpa 2 (Hindi) to claim the title of the highest-grossing Hindi film ever in India, a milestone it could achieve as early as its fifth week. While the ₹800 crore nett mark may be challenging, this film has already proven that it thrives on defying expectations.
With minimal competition throughout January, Dhurandhar is expected to maintain a strong hold at the box office and comfortably continue its run until Border 2 releases during the Republic Day week.
