The makers of Cocktail 2 have finally announced the film’s theatrical release. Along with unveiling fresh posters featuring Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon, the team confirmed that the romantic drama will arrive in cinemas on June 19, 2026. As previously reported, audiences will get their first glimpse of the film when the teaser hits theatres on March 18, 2026.

One of the most anticipated releases of 2026, Cocktail 2 serves as a spiritual follow-up to the 2012 romantic comedy Cocktail, which went on to become one of the year’s biggest box-office successes.
The newly released posters highlight the lead characters in stylish avatars. Shahid Kapoor’s look features him in a flamboyant mood, enjoying the breeze while cruising in a luxury car. Rashmika Mandanna’s poster shows her as the carefree passenger, capturing scenic views and soaking in the journey. Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon appears relaxed and joyful, letting her hair down as she enjoys the ride.
The captions accompanying the posters tease fans to head to theatres on Wednesday, March 18, for more updates about the film.
The makers also confirmed that the teaser of Cocktail 2 will be attached to the theatrical prints of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which will help generate buzz around the project. Interestingly, the team behind Raja Shivaji is reportedly planning a similar promotional strategy for their upcoming film.
Earlier, director Homi Adajania had announced the film’s wrap on social media. Sharing a photo with the lead cast while cutting a celebratory cake, he wrote, “Fun was had, film wrap, and love you fools.”
For those who may recall, the original Cocktail starred Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone, and also marked the Bollywood debut of Diana Penty. With its memorable storyline, chart-topping music by Yo Yo Honey Singh, and popular performances, the film became a major success—one of the reasons why expectations for Cocktail 2 are already sky-high.
