Border 2 Box Office Update: Sunny Deol’s War Film Slips on Wednesday, Eyes Rs. 300 Crore Mark
Border 2 saw a midweek slowdown on Wednesday, with collections dropping 25% from Monday, adding an estimated Rs. 3.75 crore to its tally. This brings the film’s second-week cumulative to Rs. 61 crore in India, and it’s now looking to wrap the week around Rs. 64–64.5 crore, depending on the final weekday numbers.
At present, the Sunny Deol starrer stands at Rs. 268 crore nett and is expected to end its first two weeks around Rs. 271 crore. While the film has enjoyed strong weekend numbers, weekday footfalls have been modest. Even so, Border 2 has already earned the status of a Clean Hit, and it’s on track for a Super Hit verdict if it continues to hold well over the coming weeks.
Looking ahead, the film is aiming for a total theatrical run close to Rs. 300 crore, before the Valentine’s Day weekend release of O’ Romeo brings fresh competition.
