The war drama Border 2, directed by Anurag Singh and starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, is now nearing the end of its theatrical run.
The military action drama earned around ₹10 lakh on its sixth Sunday, pushing its Week 6 total to roughly ₹1.25 crore. This represents a drop of about 40% from the previous week, showing that the film is slowly winding down at the box office.
By the end of its sixth week in cinemas, Border 2 has collected approximately ₹305 crore nett in India. The film is expected to add a small amount more in the coming days and may continue running in limited screens for another couple of weeks until the release of Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge.
Trade estimates suggest the movie will likely finish its theatrical run between ₹305.5 crore and ₹306 crore nett at the Indian box office.
Produced by JP Dutta Films and T-Series Films, the film performed strongly during its opening weeks, particularly over weekends, while weekday collections remained relatively moderate.
Despite slowing down in later weeks, Border 2 still managed to emerge as the first “Clean Hit” of 2026. At one stage, the film even seemed capable of reaching Super Hit or Blockbuster status, but it couldn’t sustain enough weekday momentum to reach those milestones.
Even so, the film marks Sunny Deol’s second-highest-grossing movie, while also becoming the biggest box office success in the careers of Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty.
