Bhooth Bangla Teaser Out: Akshay Kumar Returns With a Classic Priyadarshan-Style Horror Comedy
Fans have been eagerly waiting to see what Akshay Kumar and filmmaker Priyadarshan have created together in their latest collaboration, Bhooth Bangla. After building curiosity with several intriguing motion posters featuring the actor, the makers have finally dropped the film’s teaser—offering a fun glimpse into its spooky yet comedic world.
The project is especially exciting because it marks Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan’s reunion after 14 years, making it a nostalgic moment for fans of their earlier hit comedies.
A Haunted Palace, a Mysterious Ghost, and Plenty of Chaos
The 1-minute-23-second teaser opens with eerie visuals of what appears to be a haunted palace, along with hints of a mysterious incident from the past.
In the background, Asrani can be heard warning that no one gets married in the town of Mangalpur, adding that a mysterious entity called Vadhusur will return one day.
Soon after, Paresh Rawal is seen asking Rajpal Yadav about this ghostly legend. While everyone seems nervous about the haunting, Akshay Kumar’s character appears thrilled about acquiring the palace—joking that it’s only two rooms smaller than Buckingham Palace.
From there, the teaser dives into a mix of comedy, chaos, romance, and horror as the characters try to uncover the mystery behind Mangalpur’s haunted past and Vadhusur’s strange obsession with brides.

The film’s first track, “Ram Ji Aake Bhala Karenge,” has already been released and is currently trending online. The peppy number is sung by Armaan Malik and Aarvan, composed by Pritam, with lyrics by Kumaar.
Following the teaser launch, the makers are now gearing up to release the official trailer on March 18.
According to an exclusive update from Masala Buzz, the trailer will also be attached to screenings of Dhurandhar 2 in theatres starting March 19.
An industry insider revealed that the trailer cut is already finalized and the team is confident about its impact. The strategy is to generate strong buzz online first and then capitalize on the theatrical audience coming in for Dhurandhar 2.
